AUTHORS BIOGRAPHIES

NITSA LALLAS and IGNACIO ARRIBAS have successfully remodeled and renovated their house in stages during the past twenty years.  Their remodels include: kitchen, family room, dining room, living room, entryway, guest bathroom, yards and patios, home office, master bedroom, master bathroom, guest-suite.  They have enjoyed the experience and the result every time and concluded that others can too.  So that others can benefit from their experience they wrote a book to help other remodelers.

In their book “The Happy Remodelers”, they reveal how to approach remodeling in a way that makes the experience itself enjoyable and the outcome positive, and share ways to avoid tension and stress, manage and control the process, and avoid overspending. Their approach to remodeling is somewhat unique (“Don’t start by hiring an architect! Don’t start by hiring a contractor!” they write in their first chapter) and they incorporate the insights and lessons learned in their new book.

In addition to being “happy remodelers”, Nitsa Lallas is a partner in a business consulting firm that specializes in shaping corporate culture.  Her husband, Ignacio Arribas, is a retired university professor of international business. Nitsa has also written a second book called "Renewing Values in America"
